Welcome to Busy Bees, our integrated nursery provision for 3 to 4 year olds within our EYFS/KS1 class at Manaccan Primary School. Manaccan Nursery serves the village of Manaccan on The Lizard plus its surrounding communities including Helford, St Anthony-in-Meneage, Porthallow, Gillan, Carne, and St Martin Newtown.

Why choose our Manaccan school-based Pre-School?

School-based provision includes a more structured approach to teaching Phonics, Maths and Topic related knowledge and understanding. Our learning environment is planned effectively to ensure that the children can experience the best quality pre-school learning so that they may reach their full potential and flourish as a confident learner. Our integrated nursery class focuses particularly on:

• Nurturing relationships – highly-qualified, caring staff who build strong bonds with children and make them feel safe, secure, and valued
• High-quality learning through play – a stimulating environment with meaningful activities that support development, language, and curiosity
• Good communication and trust – clear, regular updates and a sense that staff listen to and work in partnership with families
• Ready for 'Big School': A curriculum planned to ensure a smooth transition into Reception Class 

 Flexible Nursery Sessions

 To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at Manaccan Nursery (depending on availability):

• Morning sessions: 5 days a week: 8.50am-12 noon
• Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12 noon-3.15pm
• School dinners are available at a cost of £2.10 as an alternative to a packed lunch. (Extra hour for lunch charged at hourly rate).
